Cyberpapacy

The Cyberpapacy combines the control and intolerance of medieval catholicism with pervasive cybernetic technology of the GodNet. The Church monitors all and weeds out heretical behaviours, while the resistance wields unapproved cybernetic enhancements to fight the Church Police.

The Law of Heretical Magic - Spellcasters who roll a mishap suffer an addition 1 Bonus Die of Shock Damage

The Law of Suspicion - A Trial of Ordeal is required to prove one's innocence when accused of heretical actions. Most commonly these take the form of Trial by Combat and Trial by Torture.
