Sudden leaps in technology have brought bleeding edge technology to cost effective production methods. Corporations field their own private security forces in powered armour, while fending off subversive breaches of their shining towers in the flourishing city centres. Outside of the financial districts of these cities, a gritty underworld of crime and intrigue can be found, where the few clean cops have to contend with corrupt partners and powerful gang leaders.

The Law of Intrigue - Paranoia and secrecy are rampant throughout Pan-Pacifica. Neighbors spy on each other and look for indications of infection of the jiangshi virus. Corporate espionage and cutthroat business practices have seen the elevation of new corporations, moving quickly to take advantage of the global instability.
The Law of Tenacity - The hardboiled heroes of Pan-Pacifica don't go down easily. When a reality rated character would normally be KO'd (From Shock or other sources) she can take a Wound to remove all her current Shock instead. If the Wound is her last, she gets one last full turn before testing Defeat.
The Law of Vengeance - When a character rights a major wrong done to him or a loved one, he achieves vengeance. His Destiny hand size increases by 1 for the rest of the Act and the next.
